Driven by a deep respect for ecosystems and biodiversity, Smitej started Devrai Nursery with a clear vision: to contribute to ecosystem restoration and inspire communities to reconnect with nature. He believes that meaningful environmental change begins with collective action and that “you and I together can achieve anything.”

Beyond the nursery, Smitej also initiated the Breathe India Initiative, a movement focused on encouraging environmental awareness, tree plantation, and sustainable living practices. Through this initiative and the work at Devrai Nursery, he continues to motivate individuals, communities, and organizations to take small but powerful steps toward a greener and healthier planet.
